How to find Parkwood Springs - link to map

There are many places where you can get onto Parkwood Springs. These include:

  • Little Pear Tree Field and the open space off Shirecliffe Road/Cooks Wood Road, opposite the end of Shirecliffe Lane. This is where many events begin. There is some car-parking here, and it is near the no. 33 bus-stop at Batworth Drive. See below for the link to a map. (For Satnavs, please put in S3 9AA.)
  • Rutland Road, opposite the end of Wood Fold
  • Penrith Road and Longley Avenue West, Shirecliffe. This is convenient for the no.7 bus.
  • Herries Road at the Penistone Road end, near the railway viaduct. This is convenient for the no. 1 bus.
  • Douglas Road, near the Ski Village
  • Club Mill Road, through Wardsend Cemetery.
Note: none of these access-points are for motor-bikes. Motor-cycling is illegal everywhere on the site.
